What is OMUN?


Ontario Model United Nations is a student-run Model United Nations simulation for students in Grade 7 to 12, held at Upper Canada College. You can find out more on our Home page or email us at omun@ucc.on.ca!




Who runs OMUN?


OMUN is an entirely student-run Model UN Simulation! You can find the secretariat, chairs, and other organisational staff at our Team page.




When is OMUN?


OMUN is annually held in the early weeks of April. This year, OMUN will be from April 4th to 5th, 2020. To find out more about what's happening during these days and the timing, check out our Schedule tab!




How do I Register for OMUN?


To register, simply click the register button in the top right of your screen, or the register tab on the left hand side. Next, fill out the form online. From there, we'll work on country assingments based off of when each school registered, and send country assignments after payment has been received. Note: Unfortunately, we cannnot accomadate independent delegates at OMUN V




Are there Position Papers at OMUN?


Yes! Once background guides are up, delegates are expected to do research and write a position paper on all the topics of the committee. Positions papers should be formatted in any format that suits you. All delegates should consult the Position Paper Guide on the Committees page. If you have any questions about position papers, feel free to email omun@ucc.on.ca or any of your respective committee emails.
